Integrated Access for Monitoring, Maintenance, and Hygiene

MODU Multi-Purpose Port™ (in Danish: MODU Multifunktionsport™) is an integrated connection opening in the fittings of the MODU ONE valve ecosystem. The port is built as a fixed part of the fitting design and replaces the need for separate welds for measurement and service connections. Since the fitting can be mounted in four different orientations (0°, 90°, 180°, 270°), it allows accessories to be positioned optimally relative to installation conditions and accessibility.

The MODU Multi-Purpose Port™ comes standard with a pre-drilled 1/4" thread. If accessories need to be in contact with the medium, an additional drilling is required. This can either be performed by the customer or by MODU for an additional fee of DKK 100 excl. VAT.

The MODU Multi-Purpose Port™ is included as standard in all fittings in the MODU ONE ecosystem (SMS, BSPP, ISO1127), which are also compatible with the other products in the valve ecosystem.

The port supports:

• Temperature sensors

• Pressure gauges for monitoring process conditions directly in the flow

• Drainage during operation without interrupting the medium or dismantling components

• Venting for safe removal of air pockets that can impair process stability

  
  

The port combines process monitoring, maintenance, and hygiene access in one standardized connection point. This simplifies design and installation, and gives you access to critical functions without adding bulk or creating leak points.
